'Works From The Landscape' Stockwood Discovery Centre.
Dynamic Flow Composition.
2010

This work was created to capture the the fundamental nature of flow dynamics.
The piece is informed by the evidence of cause and effect found in ancient volcanic flow
patterns embedded in rock formations.

It shows how the superheated mantle material and lava flow reacts when the direction
and free flow of energy is disrupted by any obstruction placed in its path, which in turn
affects how the flow pattern behaves as it rapidly cools and is influenced by gravity and
surface pressure.
