This work is about letting go.

Letting go of the construct of who and what you are, of everything you believed in and thought was real.

The piece encapsulates the journey of before and after; the notion of ourselves as a
part of the lifecycle by metamorphosis through the process of creation, destruction
and recreation of finite energy.

Surrendering to the unknown, the figure starts the fall forward into the water in an act
of sacrifice and acceptance, symbolising entry into the next state, of leaving one realm
and entering another.
